Gestern und heute waren wir in London. Mein erster Eindruck war “Gro\u00dfstadt. Laut und \u00fcberf\u00fcllt”. Aber eigentlich ist London sehr sch\u00f6n. \u00dcberall sind alte und moderne Bauwerke gemischt durcheinander. Das sieht lustig aus! Der Verkehr hingegen war eher einseitig: Es fuhren fast nur Busse und Taxis. Ab und zu gab es normale\"\"<\/a> Autos und dazwischen sah man manchmal Polizisten auf Pferden. Die Busse waren alle rot, aber es sind nicht alles Doppeldeckerbusse. Die Taxis sahen alle altmodisch aus, aber einige waren neu.
\nWir fuhren von Ashurst aus nach London Bridge mit der Bahn. Das erste, was wir anguckten war die Tower Bridge. Sie war ganz sch\u00f6n. Dahinter war der Tower, um den wir herum liefen. Er war wirklich eindrucksvoll. Ich wei\u00df nicht genau, wie viele Mauern er hatte, aber es waren viele. Ich glaube nicht, dass Gefangene da so leicht ausbrechen k\u00f6nnen. Ich weo\u00df aber auch nicht, ob da \u00fcberhaupt noch Gefangene drin sind.
\nDanach waren wir bei St. Paul’s Cathedral. Sie war riesenhaft. Leider wurde gerade an der einen Seite gebaut. Daf\u00fcr hing davor ein Tuch, auf dem die Wand darunter aufgemalt war. Wir haben noch \u00fcberlegt, ob wir hineingehen sollen, aber es war teuer und man konnte auch so weit genug hineingehen, sodass man auch so genug sah.\"\"<\/a>
\nNach St. Paul’s waren wir in dem gro\u00dfen Gericht. Man durfte, nach viel Kontrolle, auch bei einer Gerichtsverhandlung zugucken, aber man musste 14 Jahre alt sein. Sarah durfte trotzdem rein. Die Leute in der Verhandlung hatten Per\u00fccken auf. Das sah irgendwie etwas l\u00e4cherlich aus.
\nAn dem Tag waren wir noch auf einem Markt und haben uns Westminster Abbey und Houses of Parliament mit dem Big Ben angeguckt. Der Big Ben hei\u00dft eigentlich anders, Big Ben ist nur eine Glocke darin. Westminster Abbey war auch sehr eindrucksvoll. Auf dem Weg dahin sind wir noch bei der Downing Street vorbeigekommen, wo Tony Blaur wohnt. Die Stra\u00dfe war gesperrt und streng bewacht und dar\u00fcber flog die ganze Zeit ein Hubschrauber herum.

Heute sind wir wieder erst zu Westminster und Houses of Parliament gefahren. Dann sind wir am London Eye vorbei (riesenhaft war das! Und fuhr ganz langsam) zum Buckingham Palast gefahren, um uns Changing of the Gua\"\"<\/a>rds anzugucken. Auch dort waren viele Polizisten.
\nChanging of the Guards war lustig. Es kamen zwei Gurppen von Wachen, eine von rechts und eine von links, mit Spielmannszug. Am Ende zogen wieder die anderen genauso weg. Die Spielmannsz\u00fcge spielten verschiedene Sachen: John Brown’s Body<\/i>, Filmmusik von Mission Impossible<\/i> und so.
\nDanach waren wir noch bei dem Markt und sind noch etwas mit dem Bus herumgefahren.
