As I promised.. here’s something new for you. I am not quite sure why but I just somehow felt like trying writing a review or at least something like that. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I have been thinking about writing something about Apocalyptica’s new album “Shadowmaker” (which isn’t that new anymore by now, I know).. but somehow.. I never found the time and now it’s a bit too late. But. A few words: I was disappointed. I love(d) this band so much. And I really really loved their album they did before (7th Symphony). And now this one.. I still love the instrumental parts. But there are so many songs with this singer on this album! They also start out quite promising. Mostly. But only until it comes to the chorus.. might be that this album is really great for their “new” fans they have now.. they have become so big during the last years. But for me who loves “old” Apocalytica it’s too much going into the direction of “Pop-Rock”. Catchy melodies and so on. Some melodies are quite nice there.. but.. still this singing is too.. missing a word here.. monotonous? something like that.<\/p>\n

Oh but I loved their also not so new anymore version of the Angry Birds Theme. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Anyways. What I actually wanted to write about was a book. And since the book is in German I’ll continue in German.<\/p>\n

Also. Kurze Vorgeschichte. Bei unserem Famila, wo wir meistens einkaufen, gibt es h\u00e4ufig einen “Grabbeltisch” mit B\u00fcchern. Alles M\u00e4gelexemplare. Obwohl die meisten nur 3 Kratzer auf dem Buchr\u00fccken aufweisen, werden sie dort f\u00fcr 1-5 Euro verkauft. Ein Paradies f\u00fcr jemanden f\u00fcr mich. Gut, man muss dazu sagen, dass ein Gro\u00dfteil der B\u00fccher nicht meinem Geschmack entspricht. Viele der B\u00fccher lege ich schon direkt zur\u00fcck nachdem ich nur den Titel und das Cover gesehen habe. Es sind viele B\u00fccher dabei, die auf eine schnulzige Liebesromanze schlie\u00dfen lassen \ud83d\ude09
\nAber wenn man etwas w\u00fchlt, findet man manchmal auch wirklich gute B\u00fccher. Die meisten sind von Autoren, von denen ich vorher noch nie geh\u00f6rt habe. Das ist auch ein Grund weshalb ich beschlossen habe, dar\u00fcber einfach mal zu schreiben. Ich habe so etwas noch nie gemacht, aber werde versuchen das ganze so aufzuziehen, dass ich zun\u00e4chst einen allgemeineren Teil verfasse, den jeder lesen kann, der das Buch noch nicht kennt. (Und nat\u00fcrlich auch die, die es kennen) Und dann folgt ein Teil, das werde ich nochmal extra ank\u00fcndigen, der ein paar inhaltliche Sachen aus dem Buch verr\u00e4t.

“Thriller” steht auf meiner Ausgabe des Buches. Direkt unter dem Buchtitel. Hinten steht ein Ausschnitt aus der Zeitschrift “Brigitte”: “Intelligenter Horror – Decke zum Verstecken bereithalten.” Das klingt auf jeden Fall nach Spannung. Die bietet dieses Buch auch, wenn auch nicht so viel wie erwartet\/ erhofft. Mit Ausnahme davon, dass die Insel Domar\u00f6, auf der sich die Handlung haupts\u00e4chlich abspielt, nicht in echt existiert, kommen einem als Leser zun\u00e4chst genannte Orte und Landschaftsmerkmale (Stockholm, Schwedens Sch\u00e4renmeer) nat\u00fcrlich bekannt vor, wodurch sich das Buch zun\u00e4chst scheinbar im Bereich der realen Fiktion bewegt. Doch nach und nach kommen immer mehr mysteri\u00f6se Begebenheiten dazu, sodass schnell klar wird, dass es sich hier keinesfalls um reale Fiktion handelt.<\/div>\n
Der Schreibstil ist nicht \u00fcberragend, aber das Buch l\u00e4sst sich gut und leicht lesen. Vielleicht liegt das aber auch an der \u00dcbersetzung, ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass B\u00fccher in originalsprache h\u00e4ufig stilistisch deutlich besser sind als in der \u00dcbersetzung. Was ein wenig st\u00f6rt, jedenfalls bei dieser Ausgabe, sind die zahlreichen Rechtschreibfehler. Wahrscheinlich Tippfehler.. Es kann ja mal passieren, dass einer oder auch zwei in einem Buch landen. Aber in diesem Buch sind leider wirklich recht viele. Und nicht nur Tippfehler, sondern ab und zu auch mal ein vergessenes Wort.<\/div>\n
Wenn man das aber au\u00dfer Acht l\u00e4sst, ist es ein wirklich gutes und spannendes Buch und irgendwann, ungef\u00e4hr im letzten Drittel des Buches kommt man an Stellen, an denen man das Buch nur noch ungern aus der Hand legt.<\/div>\n
F\u00fcr Leute wie mich, die vorher nur Thriller aus dem Bereich der realen Fiktion kannten, wird dieses Buch ein paar \u00dcberraschungen bereit halten. F\u00fcr mich war es ein “Thriller der anderen Art”, vor allem, weil es sich bei dem “Hauptb\u00f6sewicht” nicht um ein menschliches Wesen handelt.. und auch nicht um etwas tierisches.<\/div>\n
Wer aber kein Fan von offenen Enden ist, sollte dieses Buch vielleicht lieber nicht lesen, denn das Ende bleibt hier teilweise offen.<\/div>\n

Zu dem offenen Ende kommen einige offene Fragen : Was ist mit Anna-Greta und Simon passiert? Ist das Mee, bzw. die “B\u00f6sartigkeit” des Meeres jetzt besiegt? Was ist mit den anderen Menschen die \u00fcber die Jahre verschwunden sind? Aber nunja, so etwas geh\u00f6rt wohl zu einem offenen Ende. Sonst hie\u00dfe es ja nicht “offen”.<\/div>\n
Was mich aber vor allem noch ein wenig st\u00f6rte war die Reaktion Majas als Anders sie abholte. Ihre einzige Reaktion auf das Geschehene war “Ich hab getr\u00e4umt, dass ich nach dir gerufen habe. Total oft. Hab ich das getan?” Ansonsten ist da keine Reaktion darauf, dass sie so lange ohne ihre Eltern war, dass ihr Vater sie nun wieder abgeholt hat und all das geschehene. Gut, vielleicht ist die Wahrnehmung an diesem anderen Ort ein wenig anders, aber man w\u00fcrde dennoch, trotz der vorherigen Beschreibung Majas, eine etwas emotionalere Reaktion von ihr erwarten.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
